Keep in mind, this runs alongside the PS Store’s Essential Picks Sale, which features a slew of AAA PS4 games, also at discounts up to 70% off. I expect next week to be a bit more Playstation heavy.The Big in Japan Sale is set to run until March 5, 2020, so make sure to grab what you want before then. Keep in mind that the chart only has information up until February 23, 2014, just two days after the PS4 launch. This includes Youkai Watch which has been around since July of last year. The true shocker on this list is how well the 3DS did to keep three titles in the top ten. That’s because it came bundled with the PS4. You may notice that Knack sold as many copies as the PS4 did units. Tack this number on to the already 5.2 million PS4s sold worldwide, and you can see that the system is doing quite well. It is even on track to outsell Nintendo’s 2006 launch of the Wii. We’ve already compared the PS4’s release with its predecessors, but it is worth reiterating that the PS4 selling 322,083 units in just two days is a big deal. The real story here is how well the PS4 did in its first two days. This is despite the fact that the PS4 is apparently the fastest-selling hardware in the PlayStation brand history, having been on the market for less than a year and a half. Therefore it is little wonder that the PS4 and its new releases dominated the sales charts and took the majority of the top spots. According to Japan’s Niconico News, only about one-twentieth of the PS4’s total sales (or about 1.1 million units) have been in Japan. At the end of last week Japan saw the release of the long-awaited Playstation 4 (PS4), and with it a string of some highly-anticipated launch titles. Place the order with the JAPANESE store (s) of your choice (payment and communication with the seller is left entirely up to you).
